Sault Ste. Marie teams have dominated the Northern Bowl. St. Mary’s Knights (Sault Ste. Marie) are going for their 6th Bowl victory since the Bowl series began in 2000. That would be an OFSAA bowl record if achieved. The Knights are paced by impressive running back Dylan Hebert who has had a ‘break-out’ season. He had four touchdowns against Sudbury Lo-ellen and compiled 561 yards on 117 carries and six TDs to go with 316 yards receiving and 4 touchdowns during the regular season.
Thunder Bay’s Sir Winston Churchill counter punches with a dominate high school QB named Jarred White. White led his team to the Thunder Bay title game by throwing over 1,800 passing yards and 22 touchdown passes. Devyn Chenier had a big final game rushing for 179 yards on 14 carries.
