The OMFL TNT Express (Beeton, ON) visited the Etobicoke Eagles in OMFL Atom (U9) and Peewee (U13) action on Saturday morning. The Express showed great execution and some speedy running backs and great defense to come out of the day with 2 victories:
ATOM
The TNT express cruised to a 28 to 6 victory after being up 14 to 0 at the half. TNT head coach Justin Boudreau looked to a variety of players to add points to the board, relying on his defense to score the first points of the game on a safety touch.
Scoring for the Express were Kip McCague (TD), Gabriel Haley (TD), and Nick Coleman (2 TDs and 1 2-point convert). Responding for the Eagles was Daniel Kim.
PEEWEE
The TNT express, using a shotgun misdirection run attack, methodically marched down the field numerous time to outscore the Eagles 40 to 6. Scoring for the Express were Mathew Waage (2 TDs, 1 convert), Main Cameron (2 TDs, 1 convert), Barker McGuire (2 converts), Jonathan MacDougall (TD), and Brian Escott (TD). Responding for the Eagles was Martin Horatio (TD).
