Another tight game saw the Preston Panthers facing CFC TOP 50 Resurrection Phoenix in this Week 2 battle. A close game from start to finish saw a five point differential when the final whistle blew. Even though the Panthers couldnā€™t win this week, they had a great performance from a handful of players. Running back Tyler Wismer was able to rush for over 100 yards on the day, leading the Panthers offense on the day.

ā€œAn exciting, well-played game with several lead changes,ā€ Ā said Head Coach Jim Crone.

On special teams, Danyel Sipes was able to take a kick return back 75 yards for a return touchdown. The most exciting play in football, a special teamā€™s touchdown. The Panthers also had the leading defensive player this week. Mitch Weiler lead in all tackles keeping the Phoenix off the board.
