Ontario Football Challenge profile: Jordan taking one challenge at a time

Today CFC features Ontario Prospect Challenge participant Kierian Jordan.

Position: Offensive Lineman

Height/Weight: 6’1″/230lbs

School status as of September 2013: Grade 10

Current Team: Peterborough Wolverines/Kenner

The Ontario Prospect Challenge is almost here and some of Ontario’s best players are preparing to suit up in front of Canada’s best coaches. The OPC will chose the Top 100 players to compete against each other in an All-Star game in order to provide exposure to those who have been over looked by many at the post-secondary level.

When asked why he chose to participate in the OPC, Jordan said he wanted “to challenge myself against some of the best players in Ontario, in the sport that I love.”

Jordan has many aspirations for the upcoming season, but is aware that the OPC will be a grueling process. “Each step will come with a different goal,” Says Jordan. “The ultimate goal is to play in the Final Game, but first I have to get past the first step.   The competition will be great, and the experience will allow me to challenge myself.”

For the past three years Jordan has been playing football and is prepared to take on the OPC.

Tryouts (Phase 1) for the Ontario Prospect Challenge begin September 21st.  A ‘one-time’ tryout fee allows you to compete in as many tryouts as you wish.   CLICK HERE for registration information.
