Outstanding Offensive Player of the Week

Jason Bertrand – Quarterback – Burlington Braves

Jason collected his first award as he led the Braves to a 31-24 victory over the visiting St Leonard Cougars. His passing and running accounted for 326 total yards.

The Braves captain completed 15 of 23 pass attempts for 233 yards and 3 touchdowns. He scored a TD of his own on one of his 5 rushes for 93 yards.


Outstanding Defensive Player of the Week

Aram Eisho – Linebacker – Hamilton Hurricanes

Aram receives his first award of 2010. The two time CJFL Defensive Player of the Year took charge as the Hurricanes rolled over the visiting Ottawa Sooners 40-17 Saturday afternoon. The St Jean de Brebeuf grad was credited with 28 defensive points. The 6’1” 195 pounder made 13 solo tackles, assisted on one and had a special teams tackle to round out an outstanding effort.


Outstanding Special Teams Player of the Week

Mike Ingratta – Returner – Windsor AKO Fratmen

Mike captured the special teams award as the Fratmen defeated the London Beefeaters 23-1 Saturday afternoon. The Leamington native returned 3 punts 124 yards. The longest was an amazing 110 yarder that started in Windsor’s end zone. Seen here evading London tacklers.
