Outstanding Offensive Player of the Week

Kyle Woldenberg-Puyda (PICTURE) – Runningback – London Beefeaters

Kyle has been awarded the offensive player of the week for his amazing performance in the Beefs 17-14 comeback victory over the visiting Hamilton Hurricanes.

After trailing 14-0 at the half the Beefs responded with 17 unanswered points. The St Thomas St Joseph’s grad carried the ball 19 times for 125 yards. An amazing 6.57 yard average. The 5’9” 178 pound rookie’s longest carry went for 28 yards.

Outstanding Defensive Player of the Week

Lusson Pierre – Defensiveback – St Leonard Cougars

Lusson captured the defensive award this week as the Cougars defeated the Brampton Bears 24-2. He was literally all over the field as he was credited with 22 defensive points over 5 categories. He had 4 solo tackles, 4 assisted tackles, a blocked kick, a fumble recovery and an interception he returned 10 yards.

Outstanding Special Teams Player of the Week

Eric Letourneau – Returner – Ottawa Sooners

Eric collected his second special teams award as the Sooners knocked off the Burlington Braves 31-7. His 6 punt returns covered 165 yards for a 27.5 yard average. His longest return was 42 yards.
