Ontario Prospect Challenge: Parkes ready for provincial test

Today CFC features Ontario Football Challenge participant Sidney Parkes.

Position: Defensive Back

Height/Weight: 5’7″/153lbs

School status as of September 2013: Grade 10

Current Team:Peterborough Wolverines/Crestwood SS Mustangs

The Ontario Prospect Challenge is an open call for all of Ontario’s best players to compete to be named to the Top 100 list in Ontario. Sidney Parkes has been playing since the age of six, and has “loved it ever since.” He excited for the chance to thrive in front of Canada’s best coaches.

“I thought I would give the Prospect Challenge a shot the moment I heard about it,” Says Parkes. “My goals for the Challenge are to compete on every level and test my self against the other players in the province. It should be a great experience for all involved.”

Parkes is an exciting young player who knows what success looks like. As a part of one of Ontario’s best junior varsity teams, the Peterborough Wolverines, Parkes has won championships. This past May Parkes played in the Ontario All-Star game and was the MVP recipient.
