Ontario (Hamilton Catholic): Bishop Tonnos survives overtime thriller

The Bishop Tonnos Titans and Bishop Ryan Celtics needed overtime to settle the quarter final Hamilton Catholic high school match up today.  Tonnos used the ground game and blended in the pass game for an impressive 464 yards in offense.  On the other side, the Celtics used the pass effectively led by receivers Tyler Swick (137 yards, 2 TDs) and Stefan Oliveri (91 yards, 1 touchdown).  In the end it was a 35 yard touchdown run in the overtime period that won it for the Titans.Cardinal Newman over St.Mary’s 51-0 – No mercy from Newman and no contest from Mary’s, just a blow out from the first kick off.St.Jean de Brebeuf over Cathedral – 31-19 Close game at the start, 10-7 Brebeuf at halftime, Cathedral took an early lead in the 2nd half but Brebeuf came right back, and opened the flood gates. Cathedral scored their final td with only 25 seconds left in the game.
