Winner to be acknowledged at 2012 FCCA Convention

Football Canada is proud to announce that Investors Group has returned as a sponsor of the 2012 Football Canada Coaching Association (FCCA) Convention which will be held March 23 and 24 in Burlington, Ontario at Corpus Christi Secondary School.

During the convention the Investor’s Group Volunteer Sport Administration Award recipient will also be announced during the Saturday luncheon. The winner of this award automatically becomes eligible for the Investors Group National Volunteer Sport Administrator Award. The winner of the national award receives a $1,000 Guaranteed Investment Certificate at the Sport Leadership Awards Dinner.

To nominate a deserving volunteer sport administrator, please submit an application to the Ontario Football Alliance (OFA) by email to [email][email protected] or by fax at 519-780-0705 with the following information.
β€’ Name and contact information of Nominator.
β€’ Name and contact information of Nominee.
β€’ Recipient’s Organization or Association and Current Position.
β€’ Award recipient’s profile. Please include the following:
 Work values (dedication, work ethic, number of years of service);
 Outstanding qualities/attributes (courage, fairness, leadership, lifelong learning, overcoming challenges, etc.);
 History of service to community sport programs reflecting the commitment and service of the nominee;
 List of awards or recognition received from others.

Please note that the deadline for submissions is 5 PM on March 9, 2012.

The FCCA Convention is a coaching development opportunity which features presentations from some of the premier minor, junior, Canadian and American university, as well as the Canadian Football League and National Football League coaches.
