Ontario (Peel): Loyola 7 at Meadowvale 34 (VIDEO)

MDV overcame a slow start to convincingly defeat the Loyola Warriors in the first game at the Falcon Nest. The defense settled down and shutout Loyola after giving up a long pass on the first play from scrimmage.

The Warriors had a hard time finding room to run outside as safeties Daniel Robertson and Jermey Miller shutdown the edges. Blake Armstrong and Brandon McKinley did a good job stuffing the middle as well. On offense, Brenden Dominey again played an outstanding game, rushing for 190 yds and 2 scores. All of the receivers did a fantastic job blocking, opening up lanes for big gains. In the 4th quarter, Jon McEachern continued to show improvement, running hard for the game’s final score. Josh Congdon made the first of what is sure to be many big plays in his high school career with a 45 yd reception.
