Bowmanville’s own Tim VanHeuvelen is excited to participate in the inaugural Ontario Prospect Challenge.

“Football is my passion,” says VanHeuvelen. “I take every opportunity to develop my skills and conditioning through camps, practice and education.”

VanHeuvelen will be one of many to compete in order to be ranked in the top 100 in Ontario. “I believe that my skills and size would be a benefit to a team of any kind and my learning capabilities are ideal for any program that is willing to teach.”

Although he is only 14, VanHeuvelen is already a dominantly sized football player. He is very focused and knows what he wants to achieve through the OPC. “My goals are to give it my all and learn new things. In general I aspire to soar through university and make it to the professional level. I would like to be a part of the Ontario Prospect Challenge for the experience and to play with like-minded individuals. To be chosen to play in such a program would be an honour and a challenge.”
