Today CFC features Ontario Prospect Challenge participant Ross Cameron.

Position: Receiver

Height/Weight: 6’3″/175 lbs

School Status as of September 2013: Grade 12

Current Team: Crestwood Mustangs

The Ontario Prospect Challenge is heading into week three, and so far we have seen some of Ontario’s best players tryout to be apart of the Top 100. Ross Cameron has decided he is up for the challenge as well. The Crestwood Mustang receiver has been playing for five years now, and is eager to mark his mark on the Ontario football community.

“I chose to participate because I wanted to test myself against the best players in Ontario, as well as develop myself further as a player,” Says Cameron. “I also wanted to experience being part of a different team and get a fresh outlook on the game from other coaches and players.”

When asked what he hopes to accomplish during the tryout events Cameron said, “in general, I want to continue to get better as a player, and play at the university level. I feel that if I train hard during the off-season and play to the best of my ability in every play of every practice or game, nothing will stop me from achieving my goals.”

Tryouts (Phase 1) for the Ontario Prospect Challenge begin September 21st.  A ‘one-time’ tryout fee allows you to compete in as many tryouts as you wish.   CLICK HERE for registration information.
