Maximus Morrison has played as quarterback, linebacker, running back and safety before landing on his current position as a wide receiver.

He has been playing with the Russell Renegades, who are a part of the Ontario Football Alliance (OFA), for four years.

In the past he has also attended Carletonā€™s Junior Ravens Football Camps.

Moreover, the Renegades standout was on the 2014 Ontario Prospect Challenge (OPC) East team, wining the division championship.

This year, Maximusā€™ goal for the OPC is to ā€œbecome a better receiver and enjoy the whole tryout series, hopefully making the team again this year.ā€

During the offseason, the receiver skateboards to help his balance, attends the Carleton Ravens camp and trains with an ex-CFL player.

He also plays football at school with his friends, attends Ottawa RedBlacks games, and follows the CFL and NFL.

Maximus loves the sport because his mentor and coach has shared his stories and experiences.

ā€œMy dad, who has been supportive, a teacher and shared his own love and passion for football,ā€ added the Ā Renegades standout of his Ā role model.

Advocating for football prospects one story at a time.
