Defensive tackle Yann Ky has played the sport for two years with Sir Wilfrid Laurier Secondary School as well as the midget Orleans Bengals.

Moreover, he is currently playing for the midget Orleans Dukes.

β€œFootball is the ultimate team sport,” says Yann. β€œI love the contact and the feeling I get when I make a tackle.”

To improve his game, the Dukes standout lifts weights and plays other sports, such as basketball and rugby.

Yann entered the Ontario Prospect Challenge (OPC) to learn techniques to bring his game to the next level and to play against top competition.

He also hopes to make the #CFC100 Β this year.

When it comes to role models on the field the Duke’s is Cameron Wake.

β€œβ€¦ He is an animal on the field and has an amazing first step that gets him by the o-line very effectively,” says the defensive tackle.
