Ontario Prospect Challenge profile: Coons wants to be best in province

Today CFC features Ontario Prospect Challenge participant Brett Coons.

Position: Receiver

Height/Weight: 6’1″/190lbs

School Status as of September 2013: Grade 13

Current Team: Crestwood Mustangs

The Ontario Prospect Challenge so far has hosted some of Ontario’s best football players and is well underway in becoming a premier football event in Ontario. Crestwood Mustang’s receiver Brett Coons is ready to show off his skills at the OPC in front of respected and highly experienced coaches.

“I chose to participate so that I could compete with and against some of the best football players in our province,” Says Coons. The OPC helps players that would not normally be seen by recruiters and coaches the opportunity to not only compete, but make a name for themselves in the football community.

“My goal for the Prospect Challenge is to do the best I can and to hopefully make the top 40 team,” Says Coons.

Since starting his football career at 14 years old, Coons has emerged as a well balanced and clutch receiver.
