Dimitri Triantafyllidis has had a very enjoyable football experience thus far.
He recently has played with the Peterborough Wolverines in the Ontario Football Conference (OFC), and considers himself fortunate to have played for such great coaches, such as John Parkes and Patrick Wayne.
βI wasnβt the best player but [with] lots of effort and hard work I was able to reach my goal for that season,β says Triantafyllidis. βMy coach has taught me to know my assignment, alignment [and] technique.β
During the off-season the Wolverine plays hockey, jogs, goes to the gym and maintains a healthy diet.
Triantafyllidisβ first goal for the Ontario Prospect Challenge (OPC) is to make the Top 100.
β[My] second goal is to make the team and get along with my teammates as well as the coaching staff,β adds the Wolverine. βThirdly and most importantly, to make an impact.β
The nose tackle also aspires to be on the CFC 100 list in his graduating year, but is always aiming to go further.
Triantafyllidis loves many sports, but his favourite is football since it provides the opportunity to make new friends and meet new people.
βI consider myself a team player,β explains the nose tackle. βThis sport teaches you the facts of growing up to have discipline, focus and hard work.β
Advocating for football prospects one story at a time.
