Carson Foreman first hit the gridiron in the fall of 2014 playing tyke with the Beckwith Irish Football Club, where he continues to play multiple positions into their spring 2015 season.

Since then, he has joined the National Capital Football Association’s (NCAFA) Kanata Knights as an outside linebacker. It is his first year with the tyke team and he is eager to move onto mosquito.

The Knight has set himself a few goals for this year’s Ontario Prospect Challenge (OPC).

“I want to make the team and learn new skills to become better at what I do and to meet new people,” said Carson.

During the offseason, he participates in cross country running with his school, does indoor winter athletic camps and practices with his dad. This year he hopes to attend a winter football camp through Elite Performance Academy.

Carson loves playing the sport because it is fun, exciting, and competitive, as well as being good exercise.

“I like working together on a team and I am always learning how to do better at my position,” explained the outside linebacker.

Moreover, his role model is Houston Texans’ defensive end, J.J. Watt.

“I like how hard he works no matter how tough it gets he always keeps going,” commented the Knight, who also likes how Watt crushes the quarterbacks.

Advocating for football prospects one story at a time.
