More recently, he spent a season with the junior varsity Spears and  two years with the junior varsity Blessed TrinityThunder of the Niagara Region High School Athletic Association (NHRSAA).

During the offseason, the Thunder standout stays active by playing hockey, badminton, as well as participating in track and field. He also works out in the school’s weight room and attends elite football camps to work on his skills.

For the upcoming Ontario Prospect Challenge, there are great expectation Jones has when it comes to his goals.

“I want to make the Top 100 in the Ontario Prospect Challenge (OPC),” said Jones. “I also want to learn as much as I can from the coaches and improve my game.”

Making the CFC 100 list in his graduating year is a goal of the Thunder’s, although his top goal is to play at the very best of his abilities.

“I love everything about the game,” explains the Thunder standout. “Conditioning, practicing, making big plays, the brotherhood of football. Everything!”
