Tyler Tierney, who is 11 years old, has been playing football for four years.

He began as a defensive end, then played the position of defensive linebacker for the following two years, and has previously been the defensive captain for two years.

Recently, Tierney has been on the offensive side of the ball playing quarterback, and is currently the offensive captain on the London Minor Football Association’s (LMFA) Bulldogs.

The Bulldog loves the intensity of the game, as well as the training and discipline he receives from various coaches.

“[I] love the full person to person contact and the thrill of getting through the defence to earn the touchdown,’ adds Tierney. “[I] love the team aspect of this sport and working with other players on the team.”

The quarterback plans to continue his passion for football by playing for multiple teams and being a part of the Ontario Prospect Challenge (OPC), where he can eventually play alongside and against the best players.

The Bulldog also hopes to make the CFC 100 list in the near future.

During the offseason Tierney plays hockey and participates in dry-land training, as well as playing various school sports, jogging frequently and maintaining a healthy diet to keep his body healthy.
