Middlemost has played with the Hamilton Panthers of the Hamilton Wentworth Minor Football Association (HWMFA), the St. Mary Crusaders of the Hamilton-Wentworth Catholic Athletic Association (HWCAA) and Hamilton Hurricanes of the Ontario Football Conference (OFC).

“I love the team environment as well as the number of one on one challenges in each game,” said Middlemost.

He has played a number of positions, but has most recently played as safety and slotback for the OFC Champion junior varsity Hurricanes.

Middlemost was awarded Team MVP and Championship Game Offensive MVP.

“Slotback is my favourite position and the one I train for,” added the Hurricane, who has a vigorous offseason schedule.

During the offseason, he watches film, as well as speed work, pylo work, receiver work and strength training with his receiver and strength coach Matt Giordano.

Looking ahead, Middlemost has set some realistic goals for the Ontario Prospect Challenge (OPC).

“My goals with the Ontario Prospect Challenge (OPC) are to show well, improve my visibility and meet some great minded people,” explained the slotback, who aims to be near the top of the CFC 100 list in his graduating year.

Overall, Middlemost is passionate about the game for a few reasons.

“I like the camaraderie, I like the training and I like how it all comes together on the field,” commented Middlemost.
