Vincent Santoā€™s gridiron career began in the ninth grade when he started playing for Denis Morris Redmen of the Niagara Region High School Athletic Association (NRHSAA).

The right tackle has also spent the past three years playing for the Niagara Spears of the Ontario Varsity Football League. He plans to return to the team this spring.

The Redmen right tackle spends his offseason training. His regimen includes weightlifting, running, working on his footwork and skiing.

Santo is looking forward to the upcoming Ontario Prospect Challenge (OPC).

ā€œMy goal for the Ontario Prospect Challenge is to make it on the team and assist in helping the team win,ā€ said Santo who also hopes to make the CFC 100.

Aside from right tackle, Santo has played guard, centre, left tackle, defensive tackle and nose tackle.

Moreover, the Redmen tackle graduates this spring and hopes to find himself ether at McMaster or Wilfrid Laurier in the fall.

ā€œI love football because I think itā€™s a great game and I love the teamwork and making great friends,ā€ comments the Redman.
