Cameron Gilmore plays for the Crestwood Mustangs of the Central Ontario Secondary School Athletic Association (COSSA).  Last year, he was named the team’s Defensive MVP.

“My football experiences have been amazing,” said Gilmore. “I’ve been training for a long time to improve my performance.”

The Mustangs standout plans to keep moving forward and achieve further honours while getting noticed in the process.

The running back’s offseason consists of training in the gym and planning where he can improve.

As for the Ontario Prospects Challenge (OPC), Gilmore has set the bar high of what he hopes to accomplish at the event.

“My goals for the Ontario Prospect Challenge are to do better than last year, and last year was an amazing year for me in the OPC so I’m going to have to work hard,” explained the Mustangs standout.

Overall, there are are a couple of reasons Gilmore is passionate about the game.

“I love to play football because I feel like I can do anything on the field,” added the running back. “I take it as a challenge to see how I can do physically and mentally.”
