Three years ago Brett Webster started to play football for his high school, the Uxbridge Tigers of Lake Ontario Secondary School Athletics (LOSSA) as a wide receiver before switching to the quarterback position for the following two seasons.

The quarterbackā€™s offseason consists of weight training and constantly pushing himself to become stronger and faster. He also does a lot of footwork drills for agility and tries to pass the ball 150-200 times a day to improve his throw.

ā€œMy goal for OPC (Ontario Prospect Challenge) is to push myself farther in the sport I love as well as proving that I am one of the top players in Ontario to myself and others,ā€ says Webster, who also hopes to achieve being on the CFC 100 list because his school is not recognized for football.

The Tiger loves to play football because it has given him a strong work ethic and it makes him a better athlete.

ā€œThe game provides the physicality and strategic elements that I enjoy,ā€ explains the quarterback. ā€œI also love football because in the game there is a sense of brotherhood when I take the field with my teammates knowing they have my back and I have theirs.ā€
