Although tryouts may be over for the Ontario Prospect Challenge, many are eager to see how the Top 100 game will play out. Holy Trinity’s Nigel Goodridge was just one of many who came out to show off their skills in front of highly eperienced and influential coaches and trainers.
“I Joined the Ontario Prospect Challenge (OPC) to see whereΒ I ranked amongΒ Ontario’s elite football players throughΒ practice and playΒ time againstΒ these top players”, says Goodridge.
Goodridge enjoyed his time at the OPC tryouts and used the opportunity to improve his game. “DuringΒ OPC I also identified some areas for developmentΒ and attended a QB/WR NFA Camp in OrlandoΒ during the Christmas break, and decided to join the SST Burlington Lightning Camp 2014Β held in February to help me achieve my short- term goal and increase my 40 yard dash timeΒ and get stronger”, says Goodridge. “My ultimate goal isΒ to be able to compete for a spot on a football team inΒ a Canadian or aΒ USΒ University.”
