Ontario Prospect Challenge TOP 100 Profile: Michael Micieli looks to compete

Today CFC features Ontario Prospect Challenge participant Michael Micieli.  Michael is one of 600 players who will be participating in the TOP 100 CAMPS in April.

Position: Offensive lineman

Height/Weight: 5’10″/255 lbs

School Status as of September 2013: Grade 10

Current Team(s): Hamilton Ironman/Cardinal Newman

The new year is upon us and the Ontario Prosecpt Challenge continues into it’s final stages. Many of Ontario’s best players have tried out to be a part of the OPC Top 100 and offensive lineman, Michael Micieli, is among those players. Last year Micieli was named to the OVFL All-Star team.

Since starting his football career in 2005, Micieli has been impressing coaches all over the Hamilton area. Micieli is eager to perform in front of great coaches. “I feel that the exposure at this level of football and the feedback from the coaches will help me to develop my skills and football knowledge,” Says Micieli.  “Competing against the best players in my area and the province will help make me a better player.”

“My goals are to help my high school and rep teams to achieve the highest success,” continues Micieli. ” I am setting my goal to improve each and every day and participate in the game at the highest levels.  In the short term, my goal it to make the OPC team and earn a starting position and be a part of a successful.”

Tryouts (Phase 1) for the Ontario Prospect Challenge completed in 2013.  April TOP 100 Camps & May Game has been scheduled.
