Ontario: St. Marguerite d’Youville Panthers run all over the St. Roch Ravens

On Friday night at Chingacousy Park the d’Youville Panthers ran for 360 yards on the St. Roch Ravens.

The St. Roch defense could not figure out d’Youville’s doublewing offensive style. The Ravens offense also had a tough time settling into the game against an extremely aggressive and chippy Panther defense.

In the fourth quarter, St. Roch finally connected on a deep throw down the sideline, followed by a 13 yard run up the gut.Β Β The d’Youville defensive line was relentless and held their ground on the goalie to force a turnover on downs, and protecting the shutout.Β Β d’Youville linebacker Damian Halstead recorded 2 of the 4 total team sacks.

d’Youville also missed 4 field goal attempts. The final score was 36-0 Panthers.

d’Youville plays their first regular season game against the Notre Dame Knights on Friday at 12:00pm.Β Β The Knights are the defending ROPSSAA Champions and OFSAA semi-finalists.

Advocating for football prospects one story at a time.
