The last time Lawrence Park seniors defeated the Northern Red Knights was on September 19th, 1982. That was the last time the Panthers won a City Tier I title. Since then Northern has won countless City TI crownsΒ Β while LP has hadΒ Β sucess in Tier II winning two titles in 2005 and 2010 and in theΒ Β TII finals 5 times since 1985. But this type of victory, against a Tier I provincial powerhouse, has been by far the biggest upset in the last 30 years for that school.
