CEGEP defensive lineman joins RSEQ team’s 2015 class,

For Jonathan Arseneault, one school presented the right opportunity for him.

The 6’3, 270 pound defensive lineman (tackle) from St. Constant, Quebec has signed with Vanier Cup Champions, Montreal Carabins. Arseneault will join the team for the 2015 RSEQ season.

β€œMontreal was the best fit for me and the timing is excellent at my position,” commented Arseneault on his commitment.Β  β€œGoing to this university will help me becoming a better student-athlete because they have a great way to support their players on and off the field.”

β€œThey have made a huge statement last year by winning the Vanier Cup and I want to be part of that great team.Β  Also, a French university was a good advantage for me and its 30 minutes away from my hometown.”

Arseneault capped of his CEGEP career by guiding Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu Geants to the Division 2 Bol D’Or Championship this past November.Β  The defensive lineman was selected as RSEQ Collegial Division 2’s Defensive Line MVP in 2014.
