Burlington standout joins OUA team’s 2014 class.

Addison Olah felt that one CIS school provides the best academic and gridiron opportunities.

As a result, the 5’9, 210 pound linebacker/fullback from Burlington, Ontario signed with the Windsor Lancers for the 2014 OUA season.

β€œI chose Windsor University because their Human Kinetics program is the perfect fit academically,” explained Olah of his decision.Β  β€œIt’s a competitive football program on the move with a strong, supportive coaching staff that will give me the best opportunity to excel in the OUA.”

β€œI feel that Windsor will give me the best chance for playing time on a competitive roster.”

Olah comes to the Lancers after finishing his high school career with the Nelson Lords of the Halton Secondary School Athletic Association (HSSAA). During his time there, he guided the Lords to the 2011 Golden Horseshoe Bowl Championship.Β  Among the honours Olah received are Senior Lords MVP (2012), Junior Metro Bowl MVP (2010) and Junior Lords MVP (2009).

In addition to the Lords, Olah also suited up for the Burlington Stampeders of the Ontario Football Conference (OFC).Β  The standout guided the team to three OFC Championships (2009, 2010, and 2011) and received numerous awards including Defensive MVP (2011), OFC Championship Defensive MVP (2010), Rookie of the Year (2010) and Team MVP (2009).
