Ottawa’s Bilukidi and Parksville’s Carson Rockhill to play in US all-star game


Christo Bilukidi and Carson Rockhill will both play in The Players All-Star Classic, a college football all-star game that will be played in Little Rock, Ark., on Feb. 4. The Canadian-born lineman will play amongst 40 players that have already been invited to the NFL combine. NFL & CFL teams will be in attendance at War Memorial Stadium.

Bilukidi (6’5″ 290) was a two-year starter at Georgia State who played primarily at defensive tackle but also saw action at defensive end. The native of Angola, who grew up in Ottawa and was named a team captain for the 2011 campaign, led the Panthers with five sacks and also had nine tackles for a loss, 38 defensive tackles, a fumble recovery and forced fumble. He was ranked #12 by CFL scouting bureau for this years draft.

Rockhill (6’6″ 292) earned his Canada West all-star nomination following a strong 2011 season with the University of Calgary after backing up Canada West outstanding lineman Paul Swiston at left tackle in 2010.
