The Mississauaga Warriors went out to a 35 to 5 lead at half and managed to hold on for a victory in the Wildcard game against the Niagara Spears 45 to 27.
Receiver Devante Hobbs and quarterback Aaron Clarke hooked up for 4 touchdowns on the day. Jordan Mittoo had a 45 yard interception return, Jame McCallum has an interception, and Deonte Hughes-Leacock had a sack and a fumble recovery.
Next up for the Warriors is Adams conference champion Essex Ravens. The two teams battled earlier this season with the Ravens coming from behind to win 22 to 17.
