Coons came into Sundayβs game trailing Winnipeg tailback Kienan LaFrance by only 24 yards in the race to determine the PFC rushing champion. Coons would light up an injury-riddled Rifle defense on his way to the second best single-game rushing total of 2010 with 278 yards on 27 carries and 3 touchdowns and adding 2 grabs for 47 yards, one of which was an 18-yard TD catch in the 57-15 rout of the Rifles. He won the title with 1,153 yards, while LaFrance would be the runner-up with 1,063, despite an impressive 182 yards of his own.
DEFENSE-BRAXTON LAWRENCE, Saskatoon Hilltops

The 4[SUP]th[/SUP]-year defensive back was part of a band of ball-hawks that picked off 8 passes in Sundayβs romp over the Edmonton Huskies. Lawrence had 3 interceptions of his own for 16 yards. He added 4 tackles and special teams tackle for a game total of 22 points. Lawrence wraps up the 2010 season in 4[SUP]th[/SUP]place in the PFC standings, amassing 100 points.

In a weekend that featured 3 kick return touchdowns, Grybaβs 98-yard return for 6 points to open up the 2[SUP]nd[/SUP]half of the Hilltops 75-13 rout of the Edmonton Huskies was the 2[SUP]nd[/SUP]return major of the contest, igniting a 22-0 third quarter run by the Toppers. The 3[SUP]rd[/SUP]-year running back added a 39-yard kickoff return as well.
