EDMONTON WILDCATS (2-4) AT SASKATOON HILLTOPS (5-1)
SUNDAY OCT. 10 NOON LOCAL

The champions face a must-win in the first of Sundayā€™s tripleheader to stay in the PFC playoff chase.

The Wildcats roared back into the playoff picture by sweeping their neighbours, the Huskies in a back-to-back set.
The Wildcats offensive output last week was truly a collective effort as 9 different runners took turns in the backfield and Edmonton passers found 6 different pass-catchers as the Cats racked up 468 yards of net offense in a 45-24 victory.
The Toppers lead the conference after downing the Calgary Colts 25-9 in a defensive struggle last Sunday afternoon. Linebacker Corbin Eskelson earned the nod as PFC Defensive Player of the Week by virtue of 6 tackles, 2 assists, a sack, a pass knockdown and a 26-yard interception return, racking up 23 points.
The Hilltops took the first game of their season set with a hard-fought 27-13 win in Clarke Park in the seasonā€™s inaugural week.

WINNIPEG RIFLES (3-3) AT CALGARY COLTS (4-2) SUNDAY OCTOBER 10 NOON MDT

Both teams come into the game after losing their Week 7 tilts. The Rifles took it on the chin 51-16 in Regina and the Colts dropped a 25-9 decision in Saskatoon in a first-place showdown.
The Rifles are on a 2-game skid & need a win to wrap up a playoff berth. Receiver Alex Vitt had an outstanding game in the loss to the Thunder with 9 catches for 140 yards and a major score while Eric Vincent had a hand in 14 tackles, 7 of those solo along with a special teams tackle for a 22-point game.
The Colts close out their home schedule and look to stay perfect. The Calgary offense was held to a late Cuong Thai Lieu rushing touchdown in last Sundayā€™s loss and look to rebound and stay in the chase for second place.
Colts pivot Clayton Masikewich threw for a season-high 245 yards in the loss to Saskatoon. On the defensive side of the ledger, defensive back Garry Wilson and linebacker Zach McNeill had great efforts against the Toppers. Wilson had 5 tackles and 4 assists, while McNeill had 4 tackles, 3 assists, a special teams stop and a pass knockdown.

EDMONTON HUSKIES (0-6) AT REGINA THUNDER (4-2) SUNDAY OCT.10 1PM LOCAL

The Huskies were officially eliminated from playoff contention with last Saturdayā€™s loss to the
Wildcats, while the Thunder aims to stay step for step with the Colts for second place.
Edmonton is yet again looking to shake their nasty losing streak which now sits at 22. The Huskies will look for Ben Gorniak to regain his form he displayed a few weeks ago. One member of his receiving corps, Mallan Roberts, had 7 grabs for 130 yards in the loss to the Wildcats.

The Thunder offense is back firing on all cylinders again as they displayed in the home victory over Winnipeg. Running back Mark Coons took a firm grip on 2nd spot in the rushing department thanks to his 149 yard effort. Reid Quest, after a pair or rough starts returned to form throwing for 373 yards and a trio of touchdowns. The dominating receiving duo of Kolten Solomon & Jay Smith combined for 357 of the 443 yards that Thunder pivots Quest & Wyatt Catley threw for last Sunday
