The 3rd-year slotback had his best game of his season in Sundayβs 48-28 win in Winnipeg The Saskatoon product who has battled the injury bug this season, came up with 5 catches for 180 yards and scored 3 touchdowns on receptions of 51, 12 & 80 yards respectively as the Hilltops claimed their 4th straight regular season title. He is currently 5th in the PFC with 15 catches for 458 yards and has scored 5 times.
DEFENSE-TROY CAMPBELL-Winnipeg Rifles
The 3rd-year linebacker had a season-best 8 tackles & added 2 assisted stops for 18 defensive points in the Rifles 48-28 loss to Saskatoon on Sunday afternoon. The 5β9, 200-pound 20-year-old is a product of the Sisler Spartans high school program.
SPECIAL TEAMS-JONATHAN HEIDEBRECHT-Edmonton Huskies
The rookie kicker would be a perfect 3 for 3 in the field goal department in his clubβs loss to the Edmonton Wildcats as he was good from 38, 47 & 37 yards respectively. Heidebrecht has made 9 of his 15 attempts in 2011 and sits 6th in conference scoring with 39 points.
