Port Robinson offensive lineman newest recruit to join OUA team’s 2015 class.
For Jordan Holton, he was presented with an opportunity that was too good to pass up.
As a result, the 6β0 1/2, 310 pound offensive lineman from Port Robinson, Ontario recently signed with the Waterloo Warriors.Β Holton will join the team for the 2015 OUA season.
βI chose to sign with Waterloo because of the program itself; I see it as an opportunity, not only is the program starting fresh with a new coach but the program is rebuilding,β expressed the lineman of his commitment.Β βThus I would presume that with the talents I have, there is a good chance at competing and furthermore potentially playing while I’m there.β
βTo tack onto that, the school is academically one that will help me succeed in life. Education is why I’m going there as well as of course I love to play and I believe that is where I am going to get my chance!β
Holton has suited up for both the Notre Dame College Fighting Irish of the Niagara Region High School Athletic Association (NRHSAA) and the Niagara Spears of the Ontario Varsity Football League (OVFL). Β He has played at the offensive left guard and defensive/nose tackle positions.Β Holton was also a captain for the Fighting Irish.
