Potential impact

Quebec standout joins RSEQ team’s 2014 class.

Being able to make an impact in his rookie campaign was more than enough for a Quebec offensive standout to make his decision on where he will begin his CIS career.

Akeem Hoyte-Charles recently committed to Concordia Stingers for the 2014 RSEQ season.

“The reasons why I`m coming to Concordia University are simple” explained Hoyte-Charles of his decision. “I didn`t really have many options as an English Canadian living in Quebec but it is the better decision for me.”

“With a new head coach coming in and two starting receivers leaving it is a great opportunity for me to compete for a starting spot on my first year.”

The 5’10, 194 pound slotback from Montreal, Quebec joins the Stingers after suiting up for the Chateauguay Raiders of the Quebec Junior Football League (QJFL).  Not only did he play slotback, but was a significant part of special teams as a kick/punt returner.
