PFC WEEK 3:
Running Back – #5 Cam Fox β Calgary Colts
Despite the loss the Calgary Colts saw a wonderful performance from the PFC Offensive Player of the Week, running back Cam Fox.Β He collected a Conference high 27 carries for 129 yards and had a touchdown.
BCFC WEEK 6:
Running Back – #22 Mario Narte β Langley Rams
In the lone Labour Day weekend match-up the Langley Rams dominated the run game collecting 313 yards.Β Leading the way was the βBC Lions Offensive Player of the Week,β running back Mario Narte.Β The 19 year old rushed 13 times for 156 yards and three touchdowns.Β Β This is the first time Narte has won this award.
PFC Week 3:
Linebacker – #56 Brady Carter β Winnipeg Rifles
The Winnipeg Rifles won their second consecutive game over the Labour Day long weekend and their defense was a major reason why.Β The βDβ was led by linebacker and PFC Defensive Player of the Week Brady Carter.Β He had an outstanding game, making 10 solo tackles and assisted on another.
BCFC Week 6:
Defensive Back – #25 Clovis Lumeka – Langley Rams
The Rams were solid defensively on Sunday allowing just 84 yards on the ground.Β Rookie defensive back and βBC Lions Defensive Player of the Weekβ Clovis Lumeka had an outstanding game recording four solo tackles, one knockdown and one 77 yard pick six, the first of his career.
PFC Week 3:
Kicker – #3 Brad Mikoluff β Winnipeg Rifles
The Winnipeg Rifles scored 28 points on route to their second win of the season and kicker Brad Mikoluff accounted for 14 of them with his foot.Β The Selkirk native was 4-5 in field goal attempts, 2-2 in converts and pinned the Colts on nine punts, averaging 40 yards.
BCFC Week 6:
Kicker – #30 Steve Thomas β Langley Rams
For the second time this season Langley Rams kicker Steve Thomas has been named the βBC Lions Special Teams Player of the Week.βΒ Β His foot accounted for 16 of the Rams 70 points.Β He was a perfect 2-2 in field goals, 9-9 in converts and scored a single during a kick-off.
