QB Jeremi Doyon-Roch & 15 others commit to Sherbrooke Vert et or

Jeremi Doyon-Roch has committed to play with the Sherbrooke Vert et or in 2011.

There will be a press conference today at 4:30 pm to introduce the new recruits.

Doyon-Roch has had a tremendous pre-university career. He was the starting QB for Team World (2010). He was the starting QB for Team Canada U20 at the inaugural World Junior championship.

In 2008, Doyon-Roch was the tournament all-star QB at the Football Canada cup, leading Team Quebec U17 to the gold medal and a dramatic last play victory in the semi-final game.

In 10 regular season games this season with the Bol D’or champion Vanier Cheetahs, Doyon-Roch managed 2486 yards, 26 touchdowns, on 178 for 279 passes, with only 3 interceptions.

David Lessard, Offensive Coordinator for the Vert et or, was the Head Coach of Team Quebec in 2008, when Jeremi was the starting QB.
