QMFL: Season heats up, Chateauguay and Boucherville battle this friday

The Bulldogs de Laval and the Beauce-Etchemin Dragons played an exciting game which resulted in win in favor of the Bulldogs who scored a touchdown with less than 2 minutes left to win.

At Sun Youth, although the game was fairly even until the third quarter, it is ultimately the North Shore Mustangs who won 39-14 over the Hornets. The Mustangs rookie running back, Cedric Joseph, once again impressed the gallery with beautiful runs.

The St. Laurent Spartans won for the first time this season when they defeated the St-Hubert Rebels 24-3, who are looking a bit lost this season. Laurentian Wildcats continue to win, with a 34-13 victory. The Lasalle Warriors, tasted victory again a 54-13 win over the Barons St-Bruno.
North Shore, Laurentian and Lasalle occupy the first three spots of the standings and have not lost this season. North Shore boasts the best offence with 90 points scored. Laurentian has allowed just 13 points in 2 games. The games to watch this week are those between St-Hubert and North Shore and Lasalle vs. Laurentian.

Division Wilbert Scott

The ChÒteauguay Raiders continue their excellent work and keep their perfect record. This weekend, they beat the Lakeshore Cougars , who were undefeated, by a score of 10 to 6. Perfect so far, the Boucherville Grizzlies beat Sherbrooke Bulldogs by a score of 52-0. As for Saint-Lazare, the Stallions beat the Bobcats 49-14 @ Laurentian. First victory of the Greenfield Park Packers this season as they toppe the Laval-Nord Scorpions 34-6. As for Victoriaville, always difficult to beat at home, the Vicas won 26-20 over Lanaudière Rhinos . The Grizzlies have the most points scored with 139 while ChÒteauguay has only given up 13 points in 3 games.

This week the battle to watch is certainly the one between the ChΓ’teauguay Raiders @ Boucherville Grizzlies to be held this Friday at 8:00 p.m. in ChΓ’teauguay.
