Queen’s announces two 2020 commitments

The Queen’s Gaels kicked off their 2020 recruiting class with two players from areas in Ontario, headlined by a CFC150 athlete.

CFC150 Keegan Vanek (5’11, 185 lbs) — Athlete from Catholic Central (London, ON)

Vanek is a highly-touted CFC150 athlete capable of playing both safety and slotback. The multi-talented specimen has an opportunity to make an impact on either side of the ball when he joins the Gaels in 2020. Queen’s has a very capable player on their hands.

Mitchell DellaVedova (5’11, 190 lbs) — Running Back from Superior Heights High School (Sault Ste. Marie, ON)

The stocky running back out of Superior Heights in Sault Ste. Marie, Ont., will provide the Gaels with superb depth at the position moving forward into the 2020 season. DellaVedova could prove to be a fixture in the Queen’s backfield sooner than later based on his talent alone.

Advocating for football prospects one story at a time.
