By the summer, Seton will have played for a handful of teams in his career.  He has played with the Woodstock Minor Football Association,  the Brantford Bisons of the OVFL, his high school football team, the Delhi Raiders and the Team Ontario’s under-19 squad.  Seton has been selected for the 2013 GHR Current Stars Team this spring and play for the Hamilton Hurricanes of the OFC this summer. The offensive lineman had a lot of material to choose from when selecting what he would describe as the highlight of his career.  There have been many noteworthy stretches for the young offensive lineman; however, Seton went with this past season with the Raiders.  They took home their second straight championship, which had never been done before in the Raiders history.

Seton was selected for the Team Ontario under-19 squad which played in Texas this February against Team USA. Beyond Seton’s proven abilities as a winner and his many accomplishments, he also possesses strong leadership qualities.  Seton was the team captain on the Raiders road to back to back championships.

“I do not believe that I am a great football player,” said Seton.  “I do believe however that I am hard working and so far it has paid off for me.”

“I enjoy playing the game which I believe helps when the going gets tough but I believe that hard work can only bring good things.”

About his football future, Seton believes he has a chance to enjoy a good CIS career. Right now, his focus is on what’s in front of him.

“You can’t get further in football without taking care of right now, which for me is training so that I am ready for a CIS career,” said Seton. “My goals will change as I grow but for now my goal is to contribute to my team, no matter where I end up.”

Seton attributes his high school coaches for pointing him in the right direction both on the field and academically. He is considering playing for Queen’s, Guelph and McMaster but has left his commitments open as of right now.
