“Louis Christophe Hebert is a brilliant young student-athlete with high academic and athletic credentials,” commented Gaels Head Coach Pat Sheahan.  “A product of the distinguished College Laval in Quebec City, he made the transition to Upper Canada College with distinction.”

“He was a tremendous two-way athlete for the UCC Blues for the past two seasons. He has great speed, size, speed and intelligence. He is another “big play” guy competing for a roster spot at Queen’s in 2015. Louis Christophe will be at student in the Queen’s School of Business this year carrying a 95 percent average.”

For his part, Hebert decided on the Kingston, Ontario school primarily due to academics as well as the opportunity to extend a Blues tradition when it comes the the football program.

The factors around my commitment were mostly academically based and the Queen’s Commerce curriculum felt like a great challenge,” elaborated the Quebec receiver.  “As for the football program, I am excited to follow the footstep of many Upper Canada College Blues players that chose Queen’s.”

“Also a special thank you to Stu Lang for his generous gifts to Upper Canada College and Queen’s.”
