Rams herd grows by 2, adds CFC100 and other

Rams welcome a local commit and an out-of-province commit to their 2019 class.

Elias Deptuch, a defensive lineman from CFC50 Dr. Martin LeBoldus High School, and CFC100 Bryden Oā€™Flaherty, a quarterback from Bishop Oā€™Byrne High School, will be donning the green and gold of the University of Regina Rams this upcoming season.

Elias Deptuch

As a product of Regina, Saskatchewan, Elias Deptuch is quite familiar with the Rams. In high school he played with the LeBoldus Golden Suns (RHSAA) as a defensive tackle and guard. From 2014 to 2016, Deptuch was a member of the North Central Lakers. He stands at 6ā€™0, 230lbs.

CFC100 Bryden Oā€™Flaherty

Set to travel across provincial lines, Bryden Oā€™Flaherty will be leaving his home of Calgary, Alberta, to join the Rams. He has played with the Bishop Oā€™Byrne Bobcats (CHSAA) on both the senior and junior team. As a member of the junior team, he was both a quarterback and wide receiver. In the spring, the 6ā€™3. 190lbs athlete played with the Calgary Colts (CSFA) in 2017 and 2018.

Advocating for football prospects one story at a time.
