RB/WR David’s ambitious summer

Bulldogs standout seeking to pick up recruitment pace.

Calgary Bulldogs running back/wide receiver Mason David has a full plate this summer.

Mason David has been a Calgary Bulldog for four years, starting with one year of peewee.

Then, hspent two years at the bantam level and another one as a midget.

During the running back/wide receiver’s time with the Bulldogs he won many awards including two Best Offensive Player honours- one each at the peewee and bantam levels. Additionally, he received Most Improved Player (2013), MVP (2014) and five medals at various competitions.

On top of being a Bulldog, Mason was a member of Team South in the Bantam Bowl.

“My highlight of last year’s season was coming together with my team and becoming a family,” says Mason.

To improve for next season, the Bulldog is going to train to do his best by working on footwork and speed to become stronger and faster.  To stay fit over the summer, he has a gym membership and has been training with a personal trainer.

On the recruitment front, he has not looked into anything or visited any schools as he is just entering the tenth grade.

“I would like to finish high school and go on to university and play NCAA and be recruited for the NFL or CFL,” explains the Bulldogs standout about his goals.

In life, his parents, grandma and brother are his life influences.  In football, it is his coaches and teammates.
