In the toughest weather conditions of the season, the Nelson Lords used a dominating defence to shut down the Holy Trinity Titans.
The Lords defence refused to surrender a point as they blanketed a potent Holy Trinity offence all game long.
Nelson relied on the strong running of Zach Hoffner and Ethan Rolle behind a determined Offensive Line to take care of the ball and run the clock. Rolle would rip a long 60 yard touchdown late in the third quarter to put the game away.
Kicker Adam Preocanin would take care of the rest of the scoring with three field goals, a convert and a rouge. Nelson has surrendered a mere 35 points in 8 games this season and ranks as the top defence in Halton.
Advocating for football prospects one story at a time.
