After four weeks of play in CEGEP Division 1, the Vanier Cheetahs are the only remaining undefeated team.
This past weekend, Redha Kramdi and Zack Fitzgerald caught interceptions and ran them into the end for touchdowns as the Cheetahs defeated the Levis-Lauzon Faucons 31-16.
Mathieu Bradley also tallied a major for the Cheetahs.Β Brandon Fombuena added four PATβs in the victory.
Dimitrios Sinodinos completed 24 passes in 42 attempts for 190 yards and two passing touchdowns.
On defense, Jordan Perrin-Boutet caught two interceptions while Riccardo Oliva and Athanasios Grillas each recorded a sack.Β Lukas Redguard registered seven tackles and Jersey Henry added 5.5 tackles.
Olivier Filion scored both touchdowns for the Faucons.Β Raphael Bouffard-Proulx racked up 111 yards on three receptions (average of 37 yards per carry).Β Louis-Charles Moisan was successful on two conversion attempts.
Guillaume DβAnjou caught an interception while Raphael Faucher, Jean-Philippe Levesque, Olivier Lavoie and Michael Bussieres all recorded sacks.Β Frederic Marois and Faucher each had eight tackles in the loss.

VIEUX-MONTREAL SPARTIATES 36, NOTRE-DAME-DE-FOY 27:
At Seminaire Saint Francois, CFC 100 Louis-Mathieu Normandin tallied two majors as the Vieux-Montreal Spartiates handed the Notre-Dame-Foy (CNDF) their first loss of the season, 36-27.
Edouard Montemiglio and Julien Bourassa each scored a touchdown.Β Luis Amaruso added four PATβs.
Frederic Paquette-Perrault completed 18 passes in 33 attempts for 268 yards and three touchdowns in the victory.
Enock Mazonko was a beast on defense as he recorded a sack and registered 13 tackles for the Spartiates.Β Felix Pelletier caught an interception and recorded a sack.Β CFC 100 Laurent Rondeau caught an interception.Β Additionally, Zachary Guenette and Julien Bourcier recorded a sack for the Spartiates.
As for CNDF, Alexis Cote scored two touchdowns and rushed for 117 yards on 23 attempts.Β Patrick Serre tallied a major and had 75 yards on three receptions (25 yards per reception).Β Karym Kartsonis racked up 87 yards on six receptions in the loss.
CFC 100 pivot Samuel Chenard completed 12 passes in 18 attempts for 204 yards and a passing touchdown. David Cote was successful on three conversion attempts.
Jean Philippe Hudon caught an interception and registered 13 tackles.Β Alexandre Hardy added 12 tackles while Cedric Vaillancourt recorded a sack and CFC 100 Jean-Sebastien Belisle caught an interception for CNDF.
CHAMPLAIN-LENNOXVILLE COUGARS 50, MONTMORENCY NOMADES 14:
At Coulter Field, CFC 100 Cedric Joseph tallied two majors and rushed for 147 yards on 27 carries as the Champlain-Lennoxville Cougars moved into a first place tie in the Nord-Est Division with a 50-14 win over the Montmorency Nomades.
Philippe Lessard-Vezina scored a touchdown and rushed for 138 yards on 10 carries (average of 13.8 yards per carry).Β Marc-Antoine Pivin (98 yards on five receptions average of 19.6 yards per reception) and Trevon Wilson-Millings each added a major in the win.
Pivot Michael Arruda completed 13 passes in 20 attempts for 174 yards and two touchdowns for the Cougars.Β Dominic Levesque added six PATβs.
CFC 100 Cedric Lussier-Roy recorded two sacks and registered 7.5 tackles to lead the Cougars defense.Β CFC 100 Frederik Robitaille also had two sacks and racked up seven tackles.Β Moreover, Kevin Mcgee caught two interceptions.
As for the Nomades, Dave Charles (71 yards on five receptions) and Gabriel Parent each scored a touchdown.Β David Rompre was successful on both conversion attempts in the loss.
On defense, Marc-Alexandre Boisseau registered 9.5 tackles while Xavier Prevost caught an interception and Steve Boka recorded a sack.
FX-GARNEAU ELANS 31, EDOUARD-MONTPETIT LYNX 9:
At Edouard-Montpetit, William Tremblay-Harnois scored a touchdown and racked up 70 yards on three receptions (average of 23 yards per reception) as the FX-Garneau Elans grabbed their first victory of the CEGEP Division 1 season, 31-9 over the Edouard-Montpetit Lynx.
Marc Antoine Hamel tallied a major for the Elans.
