RECAP: Lords come up short against CFC#23 Ravens in exhibition play

In one of the few early season Exhibition games in Ontario, Nelson hosted the St. Roch Ravens under the lights in a JR/SR doubleheader at Nelson Stadium. The Lords fell behind early on three explosive plays from the Ravens and trailed 20-0 midway through the second quarter. Nelson battled back on touchdowns from Tyler Parnham and Ethan Rolle and single from Adam Preocanin. The Lords closed the gap to 20-15 in the 4th but could not convert on two short yardage attempts in the redzone and the Ravens hung on for the win. The game was played infront of a large crowd who braved a cold night in driving rain.

Up next: Nelson opens the 2015 HSSAA schedule by welcoming the Loyola Hawks to nelson stadium on Friday September 18th at 3:00pm.
