The Nelson Lords moved to 2-0 on the season with a 39-13 win over the MM Robinson Rams.
The Lords controlled the game along the ground with a strong running attack. Ethan Rolle paced the Lords with 2 rushing touchdowns. Quinn Pritchard and Zach Hoffner each rushed for one touchdown as well.
Nathan Egert scored his first major of the season on a pass from Quarterback Justin Morgan. Adam Preocanin added five converts and two punt singles. The defence would also record a safety to close out the scoring.
The Lords now look ahead to a massive week 3 matchup with the rival Assumption Crusaders. This game will go Friday October 2nd under the lights at Nelson Stadium on the Cogeco game of the week.
Kick-off is set for 7:00pm — this is a game Burlington football fans will not want to miss!
