The St Roch Ravens moved to 3-0 with a 37-0 win over Mayfield.
Quarterback Deandre Rose completed 10 of 15 pass attempts for 174 yards, two passing touchdowns and rushed for another 12 yard touchdown to lead the offence.
Jamaal Nkrumah had a receiving touchdown as well as a rushing touchdown and Malcolm Miller had over 100 combined yards for the third straight game with a touchdown of his own.
With only four returning starters on Offense from last year’s team, the players are continuing to gel together and are establishing confidence and trust in one another.
On defense, Mariano Christiaans, Antoine Walker and Temi did a great job stuffing the run and making numerous tackles for loss while #CFC100 defensive backs Riccardo Barrett and Tyrell Richards had strong games in the secondary.
St Roch has their bye week coming up before finishing the regular season against David Suzuki on Oct 23rd and will face Aquinas at the Rogers Center on Friday October 30th.
Tickets are on sale to attend the triple header on Oct 30th to watch the Aquinas vs Roch JRs, SRs then the Argos vs BC game at 7pm. Tickets are $25 to see all three games and can be purchased in the St Roch Phys Ed Office.
