Toronto, ON (November 26, 2012) β With Canadian football fever taking over the country this weekend, TSN and RDSβ broadcast of the VANIER CUP on Friday was watched by 910,000 Canadians β making it the most watched VANIER CUP ever. Audience for the CIS football championship game is up 38% compared to last year.
Overall, more than 3.3 million Canadians tuned in to watch some or all of the VANIER CUP on TSN and RDS.

According to audience data from BBM Canada, TSNβs average audience was 502,000 viewers β its most-watched CIS broadcast ever. RDSβ French-language broadcast attracted an average audience of 408,000 viewers that saw Laval Rouge et Or defeat the McMaster Marauders in a rematch of last yearβs thrilling VANIER CUP.
The VANIER CUP kicked off TSNβs extensive weekend of programming celebrating Canadian football.
Audience data for the 100th GREY CUP will be released later today.
